Aru is a robot with innovative shapes. Difficult to overturn, agile in cramped situations, able to extend to handle at height, Aru knows how to navigate industrial buildings, multi-storey buildings or the chaotic universe of a house. Aru learns new tasks by downloading software and adding appendix or sensor. He intervenes in reconnaissance on dangerous places. It verifies the correct functioning of a system. He assists the man at his request.
Nimble One, a deep-tech start-up created in 2020, designs Aru, a robot with innovative shapes. The team brings together experts in locomotion, perception, mechanics, AI, and 3 academic partners to create an agile, mobile and autonomous robot. Aru will be programmable via a public API made available to a community of non-specialists in 2022. Aru will reach technological maturity in 2024 with a presession in 2023. Nimble One is the iLab 2021 laureate.
