Michael Feith is a policy officer at the European Commission, where he deals with financing programs for infrastructure, enterprises and services. He is mainly involved in the set-up and the governance of the “InvestEU” programme for the EU´s new budgetary period. He also works for the “European Investment Project Portal”, a platform bringing together project promoters and investors. Mr. Feith first joined the European institutions in 1999 via the European Parliament, before entering into the European Commission in 2001. He background is in IT and he holds as well a Master's degree in European Politics.
The European Commission is the executive branch of the European Union, responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, upholding the EU treaties and managing the day-to-day business of the EU.
