Sophie Castille is International rights director at Média-Participations Group, the European leader in comics publishing and animation. She is Vice-President of Mediatoon Licensing and manages the company’s foreign rights department, which handles the rights of three of the oldest Franco-Belgian graphic novel publishers (Dargaud, Dupuis and Le Lombard) as well as several independent publishers. She has been working in rights for almost 20 years, and since 2015 she has been Managing Director of the European graphic novel digital venture Europe Comics, of which she is also co-founder.
