Biographie

Becca Topol is a writer of both film and television series. She wrote the feature film "The Ramen Girl," which is inspired by her experience living in Tokyo and eating at the neighborhood ramen shop, as well as “Sugar Babies” starring Alyson Stoner, and drama/thrillers “Wicked Moms Club”, and “Psycho-In-Law”. She is currently developing a female action-comedy feature as well as a dramedy television series with Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick and Valerie Stadler’s production company, Big Swing Productions. In animation, Topol's writing credits include Disney’s Emmy® and Imagen Award-winning "Elena of Avalor”. She developed and currently serves as co-producer & head writer on Disney series "Mira, Royal Detective," which concurrently launched in the U.S. and India, and features an all-star South Asian cast including Frida Pinto, Kal Penn, and Jameela Jamil. Before becoming a writer, she served as a development executive for Fox TV Studios. After growing up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., Topol earned a law degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in East Asian Studies and Japanese Language from Brown University.
