Biographie

Award winning multilingual producer with extensive experience in international film and television having worked as Producer, Executive Producer and Production Manager. Antoine has spent most of his life in the entertainment business, his first taste was when he was 10 years old and was an extra on a film with “Napoleon”. He decided then that he wanted in. Antoine de Cazotte has worked in Film and Television Production out of Paris, France where he lived before moving to Los Angeles, California in 2001. Before deciding he would become a producer, he worked as an extra and actor, learned sound engineering and recording, learned to operate camera and has worked on all technical supports from 35mm to video. He is familiar with breakdowns and scheduling as well. He has worked on a wide variety of subject matters from documentaries to theatrical fiction and TV mini series. Antoine positions himself as a producer linking America and Europe. He hopes to be an asset for any international film or television project that involves adaptation to different cultures. He understands the difficulties that result from misinterpretation and poor translation leading at times to problems that are in fact easy to resolve. He is the French Representative to the International Committee of the Producers Guild of America. Each year, he hosts events during the Cannes and the Deauville Film Festivals in France. Antoine is a native of France, but learned English as a young boy while attending school in Hartford , CT while living there with his family for four years. He also learned Russian beginning at the age of seven. Furthermore, being from a latin country he is able to have a conversation in Spanish and Italian. He has travelled in all European countries, East and West Africa as well as North and South Africa. He was on a film production in Algeria in 2013. He is familiar with Asian, Central and South American cultures. Recently he has raised funds through the Richard Lounsbery Foundation to promote the feature Film Seasons by Jacques Perrin (Winged Migration) and for the development of The Photographer, an American West feature to be shot in 2018. Antoine is most frequently recognized for being one of the producers of the Oscar winning film: The Artist. Antoine has also written a theatrical script: The Last Mission (WGA). Diplomas: Business & Administration Graduate of the University of San Francisco. French Baccalaureate with emphasis in Maths and Physics. Affiliations: PGA, ADP (French producers Association). Awards for The Artist: Oscar, DGA, PGA, BAFTA, CESAR, etc... He is the descendant of Edouard de Laboulaye who promoted and gave the Statue of Liberty to the United States of America.
