Thibaud van Rooden is heading the International Affairs at Pôle MecaTech. Prior to joining MecaTech, he held different positions in Economic development, innovation & cluster management, and business development Thibaud has been accelerating the cluster’s international activities through several European projects, mostly on the topic of Factory 4.0/Smart manufacturing (Industrial IoT, Additive Manufacturing, AI, etc..). He has expertise in various activities ranging from mapping of industrial ecosystem, organization of training & workshops, EU Funding. Examples include the IoT4Industry project (INNOSUP-01 Horizon 2020), which was awarded the "European cluster partnership of the year” in 2020. Thibaud is also involved in VANGUARD Pilot initiatives (3D printing, and Efficient and Sustainable Manufacturing).
Pôle MecaTech is one of the partners involved in the Walloon European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) application “Industrie 4.0”, led by AGORIA, and is more specifically in charge of the “Ecosystem/International partnership” and “Funding” topics. MecaTech is currently connected with 25+ European clusters partners, including Greater Regions entities such as Materalia, Luxinnovation, or Zema.
