Koen has been active for 20+ years in the software sector with a focus on growth, finance, investment and innovation as a strategic advisor. Between 2002 and 2018, Koen was active as Strategy Director, CFO and co-managing Director of Alpega, software scale-up in the B2B transport & logistics industry. Prior to 2002, Koen was active as venture capitalist and since 2020, Koen returned to venture capital as Venture Partner at Volta Ventures, an early stage B2B software fund.
Volta Ventures is a closed-end early stage venture capital investor. Our focus is on early Stage B2B software businesses (pre-seed, seed, series A), where we guide and challenge businesses to go from problem-solution to product-market fit and beyond.
