SkyDrive Inc. présente : Flying Car Developer from Japan - towards society with everyday aerial door-to-door transportation

Descriptif de la démo

Flying cars are part of the plan for the World Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai and SkyDrive is working toward the launch of air taxi service in the Osaka Bay area during the Expo. To this end, SkyDrive signed a partnership agreement with the Osaka Prefectural Government and Osaka City Government in September 2021 to work toward the practical application of its flying cars in Osaka. To launch a flying car business, it is essential to satisfy safety standards set by local authorities such as Japan?s MLIT, Europe?s EASA, and the FAA in the U.S. It is also necessary to obtain a type certificate (TC). After 2025, we anticipate flying cars will be deployed at locations nationwide to offer sightseeing flight services to tourists and/or shuttle service to luxury hotel guests. We expect that flying cars will see gradual adoption as a means of daily transport in urban areas. Around 2030, as we realize autonomous autopilot technology, flying cars are expected to be used more commonly throughout Japan.
